Ordered three servings of the mixed grill for six people in order to feed guests at a picnic. This was easy to do and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The food was ready on time and was so fresh and tasty. It was the hit of the picnic. Thank you so much for the amazing dishes and the fantastic service.

serving sizes were huge and very generous! There was a nice seating area outside, and it's more of a fast food restaurant. The chickpeas were a bit stale, but otherwise tasted delicious

We came here with a party of 12. My uncle's family was in town and we were looking for a Middle Eastern restaurant in Georgetown that was casual since we had a couple of young kids in our party. I found this place searching through Yelp. Never having been here, I called a week in advance just to make sure they could accommodate us, since we've never been here before. We were able to find residential street parking near the restaurant, but hit a bit of traffic traveling down from Baltimore. My uncle and his family were seated in the corner, next to the hallway leading to the bathrooms. I'm just glad it wasn't crowded and we were able to sit together. This place is very casual. You have the option to order through the tablet or at the counter with the cashier up the steps where the kitchen is. There was a bit of "flooding" wet floors. Nothing we couldn't step over. We opted to order at the counter and it was pretty seamless. The cashier was very nice. The food took a bit of time but understandable with our large group. The plates were served on trays and we brought them to our table ourselves. I ordered the chicken kabob platter. Each plate was filled with rice. The chicken was good. I tried my mom's beef which was a bit dry. The white rice lacked the texture and flavor I'm used to. But the side of veggie I chose that each platter comes with, the chickpeas, were very flavorful. My wife said the same about the mixed veggies. All in all, we had a great time here and appreciated the restaurant's hospitality.

The service here is exceptional, with the staff always attentive and ready to ensure a pleasant visit. The owners are genuinely nice and go out of their way to make you feel at home, adding a personal touch to your dining experience. One of the standout features is their fantastic selection of kabobs, particularly the mixed family platter. Designed for six people, this platter is a feast with a generous portion of all types of kabobs and rice. Despite being advertised for six, the portions are plentiful and perfect for a hearty meal. The food is simply delicious. Each dish is packed with flavor, making it a great choice for anyone looking to savor authentic Afghan cuisine. A large platter of food was just what I wanted to end the week. I got the Beef Kabob, which comes with chunks of beef over basmati rice with a side of fresh salad, your pick of vegetables (got eggplant), and bread. The best part was not knowing where to begin. I'm weird and went for the eggplant first. Tasty and already off to a good start. The beef was easy to cut and well marinated. I think I filled myself with enough of the rice, but I had to rip off a piece of bread to eat it fresh and it was so soft. Second best part: trying to figure out how to fit the leftovers in one box. They call your order number nice and loud on a speaker system when it's ready. It took a while for mine to come out since I ordered behind a party of six Georgetown students. Not much to say about the dining room (basic). It has lots of seating, which is the most important thing. Just focus on the food. This seems to be a popular place for delivery. Delivery guys were coming in and out, whisking away bags of platters, bowls, and wraps to the next happy customer.

Came here after a long flight and was not disappointed. For the price point, it was A LOT of food. Definitely could have split my entree with my friend. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance was...okay. The layout was definitely serviceable. The decor isn't looking to "wow" you. Definitely if you're in the area, you're hungry, and on a budget -- try it out!
